Cameron Archer

Cameron has been Chair of the DRT board since its inception in 2016. Cameron is President of the Paterson Historical Society, Chair of the Primary Industries Education Foundation and former Principal of Tocal Agricultural College. Cameron has written various books published through the Paterson Historical Society and Tocal’s CB Alexander Foundation.

 

Marion Stuart

Marion runs the Retreat 2 Main Creek / Bower Retreat, accommodation and an arts & craft retreat in Main Creek. Marion is also President of the Dungog District Chamber of Commerce. Marion volunteers with many community organisations in the Dungog area, including the Visitors Information Centre in Dungog,

 

Jenny Akers

Jenny, a retired teacher, moved to Dungog three years ago and is an active participant and volunteer in several local community groups. She sees the potential for tourism in this uncommonly beautiful region and is keen to work towards achieving DRT goals.

 

Ivan Skaines

Ivan is a long-term resident of the Gresford area and a former employee of Dungog Shire Council where his responsibilities included tourism, economic development and events. Ivan is currently Grants and Community Engagement Co-ordinator for Muswellbrook Shire Council and also Chair of Arts Upper Hunter, and is a member and volunteer for several local community organisations.

 
 
 

Rob Auer

Rob grew up in Dungog and has since made Clarence Town his home with his family. He works as an accountant with Addison Partners Dungog and is passionate about the local area. In working with small businesses, the value of tourism can never be understated to the growth of an area. He is currently the Secretary of the Clarence Town Progress Association Inc. and has had volunteer roles in community organisations as well as holding an executive role (Treasurer) with Maitland Rugby Union Football Club Inc. for many years. 

Helene Leane

Helene is an artist who has resided in Dungog for 7 years.  She has lived off grid in the forest, and now, with her partner, has built "Dungog Healthy Home" (a house built with natural insulation and low toxicity) in Dungog town.  She also runs an art gallery, Gallery on Dowling, in the main street of Dungog.  She is keen to see Dungog grow as a tourist destination for its beautiful landscapes, mountain bike trails and cultural activities.

Helene also has volunteer roles at Dungog by Design (a community run art gallery) and the Country Women's Association.

Penny Willcock

Penny has recently moved to Dungog with her family and joined DRT to make a positive contribution to the community, after spending many months researching all of the wonderful things the region has to offer. Penny currently works in the Electric Vehicle industry, helping to accelerate the adoption of EVs in Australia. She also holds a B.Bus with a major in Tourism Management.
